Rolex Ref 16610 VS 16622
The Submariner VS Yachtmaster
Some calls the Yachtmaster a blinged Submariner but there is some differences of the models.
Both this watches have got some minor adjustments like the Submariner have a Maxidial and the fat minute hand as the Yachtmaster.
The Yachtmaster have got a SS Daytona clasp.
The case have the same size 40 mm. The Submariner is good for 300 meters and the Yachtmaster is good for 100 meters.
I will say they both will be good for 300 meters but Rolex will only rate the diver watches for more than 100 meters.
Both watches have the TripLock crown and itīs build up the same. The Yachtmaster have polished lugs and middlelinks so
it will match the Platinum (dial & bezel) better.
The Submariner bezel is unidirectional and the Yachtmaster bezel is bidirectional.
The Yachtmaster have curved lugs and solid endlinks at the bracelet, the current Submariner have solid endlinks too but the
Yachtmaster endlinks is a little longer because of the curved lugs. The Yachtmaster bracelet have solid middlelinks.
Here the differences of the enlinks shows better.
The Daytona clasp have a micro adjustment link inside and the Submariner clasp have a diver extension link inside.
Here the difference of the lugs shows better.
Both watches have fully bracelets with all the links.
The Submariner is 130 grams.
The Yachtmaster is 155 grams.
Both watches glowing nice at the dark too.
