To downplay a dresswatch.

I start to pull off the strap.

It all started when I contacted MickeJ on mjleather.com which is usually set up as my local saddler

When I got a lot of ideas in my head. Now I was hungry for a nubuck straps. For those who do not know

what this is for the type of bands so I can tell you that in this case is a matt sanded crocodile strap. Mike says

that he did not have any such materials and say it is hard to find and do not always look like you want. But as

usual, he can not let go but it starts investigate this with their suppliers and find until the end of one, but they have a

minimum order limit it is not reasonable to make a few straps. At the same time so put MikkoPi from Finland an ad

with Hirsch straps and he have a new 22mm nubuck strap for a reasonable sum. I hit him like a cobra, and, making

an electronic payment and at the same time I got a mail from Micke that announces he also found the ad. I tell him

then that the strap is purchased and is already on its way to you.To me? He said questioningly. Yes, we are not

finished yet, so easily did you not escape.

After Micke prepared himself mentally as he was not entirely sure it would be possible to implement my plans

depending on the strap construction. I gave him my blessing, and said that if it shits itself so there will be no

problems, I'll take the hit.

So he sneaked off and it all went well.

Then it was just getting there a suitable thread which seems to be going splendidly. As you now understand then that my bronze Dornblüth.

Amidst all I remembered that my original buckle is 18mm and strap here is 20mm. Damn, then I need a 20mm bronze buckle and I

set off on Ebay after informing Micke. I checked and found nothing good, most were Panerai buckles that gets a little too powerful.

Then ping it back in the mail and of course, Micke has tracked down what I was looking for in Lithuania. So it was just to order one.

So after being chased and bought parts in different countries and given the saddler a lot of headaches that did this.

I am cruelly satisfied with all involved and want to give Micke a giant praise for all the help and patience, it almost felt like he
wanted this more than me because he has really delivered on top and more than one might expect.

He has also taken pictures above during the journey.

A huge thank you Micke.

Here are some photos of the strap
when it's back to daddy.

Perfect match of the bronze.

I love the matte finish of both the watch and the strap.

Fat buckle.
