I guess I've been bad this year, there was nothing from the Santa.

So I have to do something about it and get myself at least something that I appreciate.

So I went for a hunt in Stockholm and stop by at my friend Roger's Watch Shop.

He tell me, just look around and see if you find something that you like.

And tell me if you need a loupe for things you can't see with a naked eye?

A naked eye he says, what do a naked eye?

Of course, it observes.

And if a watch observes you and smiles at you, it must be a Observer.

The Glashütte Original Senator Observer with the black dial is the only sport watch in the Glashütte Original's current collection IMHO.

It's a really clean look with the black matte dial and the panorama date over the 6 o'clock position.

The daphne/alpha hands give it a sporty feeling and at the first sight a chronograph look with the small second hand and the power reserve.

The white gold hands are loaded with super luminova, the small hands too and the dial is close to a firework.

The qiuckset for the date is a pushbutton at the side.

The dark brown calfskin leather strap with brown stiching is unique for this model and a stainless steel folding clasp.

The 44mm stainless steel case gives a feeling that the watch is smaller and it's very comfortable at the wrist.

I have looking for a caliber 100 for a long time and when this model was released did I realize it's just a matter of time until I get one.

With the fake 3/4 plate (as a "journalist" state, you know who you are) are in 2 pieces because of the twin barrels looks really nice IMHO.

60 jewels, incabloc and 55 hours power reserve.

The balance wheel have 12 weighted screws and 4 regulation screws and a fine adjustment swan neck.

The super luminova do a great job.

Even on the secondhand.

A well balanced night watch.

A little movie how it looks.

Nice and clean.

At work.

The real observer looking for Santa.
