It's all about watches.
We start early, the train to Stockholm left 05:25.
At least we find somthing to do while we waited for the plane.
After a quick trip to Berlin, we find this guy.
After a 2 hour drive to Dresden it's time for a stop.
Now we talking.
Of course a schnitzel is not enough for a guy on the shop floor.
After a few beers and a meal we are ready for the Glashütte Original Boutique in Dresden.
The blue Pano's for delivery.
The Boutique Manager Mr Sebastian Prinz take care of us and tell us about the brand.
Like a kid in the candy store.
Then we get our keys to the hotel.
After one hour did we hear something is going on at the square outside our window.
We can count to 18 Mercedes that will drive us to the Glashütte Original manufaktur.
It's time to get ready.
Now it's approaching the 6 o'clock.
So it's time to leave Dresden.
And go down to Glashütte, we don't complain.
Fine people always come late and the party was already running.
And our long time friends Gerd and Martina we haven't seen in 5 years looks happy when they see us.
The colors of the day is blue.
The people begin to gather.
For the presentation.
Of the book Glashütte Original Impressions.
Some of the contributors read their texts from the book.
It's a hard cover book with 250 pages about the brand and their history.
360 ° - The Facet of Glashütte Original with two watchmakers that answer questions and show their work.
Some gyus read the book very fast.
At the exit a goodiebag with the book for us.
Next day we was invited to The Deutsche Uhrenmuseum Glashütte for a breakfast.
Then the presentation started with some history.
And finally The Sixties Iconic Collection will see the light.
And they put it on the table.
Some quick pics of the watches.
My favorite, the brown fabric dial.
This is not what we use to see from Glashütte Original.
A little closer.
After the presentation we take a walk in the museum.
After 2 intensive days was this the first we see when we arrive to Sweden.
A very big thanks to The Glashütte Original Team for 2 great days in Glashütte and Dresden.
