GMT MASTER Ref 1675

We have to do some work with this watch.

Here is how it looks from the start.

So I have to get some new parts.

A new pepsi insert.

A Super Luminova dial.

So lets open it up, here is the inside the backcase.

Here is how the sides looks.

And the backcase

And the lugs

So the Dremel machine and the sandpaper sponge will do some work.

Here is the bracelet.

Some marks to take care of.

The new and the old dial.

It looks like a bad relume work.

And the bezel inserts.

Correct 2, LOL.

So I have to visit the watchmaker and he should change the crystal, hands.

dial and gaskets at my GMT. He start to pull off the rotor so he donīt press

down the axles when he push the hands in place. Here it is.

The movement without the rotor.

Here he starts on the other side

The movement without the dial, notice the silver date wheel. You can even see

6 is closed at 26, the rest 6 and 9 are open. Just a little strange or shall we call

it Rolex logic?

Here he just set back the first hand.

 Iīm not curious

I just look so he have push back the hand correct

 I follow his work

All 4 in place

I have to see so it line up correct

And the final product.

And it glow too.

I hope it was worth to wait for the pics.
